SCIENCES 3ºA-3B. THURSDAY 16th.

Buenos días a todos!

•  Vamos a empezar con la corrección de la tarea de ayer. Comprobad que habéis contestado correctamente a las preguntas:

1. What is matter? Is anything in the Universe that has a mass and a volume.
2. What is mass? Is the amount of matter that is in an object.
3. What is volume? Is the amount of space an object occupies.
4. What is a pure substance? Is a clean substance with no impurities.
5. What is a mixture? Is made up of different types of pure substances
6. What is an homogeneous mixture? Is a mixture where the different substances can not be seen.
7. What is an hetereogeneous mixture? Is a mixture where the different substances can be seen.
8. How can we classify matter? Matter can be found as a solid, as a liquid or as a gas.
9. How can matter change? It can change by force or of state.
10. What is combustion? It's when something burns and there is a chemical change, and produces light and heat.

• Ahora vamos a leer el recuadro de la página 83 del libro "What are materials?", vemos el vídeo y haremos los ejercicios 2 y 3.

Para hacer el ejercicio 2 tenéis que mirar los materiales que hay en la columna en la parte derecha de la página. Hay que copiar las frases.

En el ejercicio 3 las respuestas son libres. También hay que copiar las frases.
